Boca Raton law firm, and official partner of Florida Atlantic University, is looking for a Legal Clerk to join their growing team. This is an entry level position, perfect for someone with an interest in the legal industry, passionate about making a difference, and a desire to gain knowledge in order to grow within a law firm:

• Opening new matters in the electronic case management system.
• Opening insurance claims.
• Identifying related parties, such as defendants, providers, and law enforcement.
• Sending letters of representation
• Request and obtain investigative material, like police reports and video footage.
• Send and obtain settlement reductions and waivers.
• Close matters at the end of the case

Experience/Skills necessary for success:

• At least 1-yr of office experience.
• Currently Enrollment in a paralegal program is a huge plus.
• Results-Driven
• High level of organization.
• Ability to follow pre-established processes, but.... Innovative enough to suggest ways to make the processes even better
• Above average communication skills
• Positive attitude with an outgoing personality.
• Fluent in English required
• Spanish is a huge plus.
